LIMA, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Peru will finalize their Copa America preparations with a friendly against Costa Rica in June, officials said on Thursday.

The match will be played in Peru's capital Lima on June 5, according to a Peruvian Football Federation statement.

It added that the venue and time of the fixture have yet to be confirmed.

The 2019 Copa America will be played in Brazil from June 14 to July 7. Peru have been drawn in Group A alongside Brazil, Bolivia and Venezuela.

Costa Rica will use the match to prepare for the 2019 Gold Cup in the United States, to be played by member nations of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) from June 15 to July 7.
