SHANGHAI, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai will hold an international automobile exhibition from April 18 to 25, to showcase China's development in automobile industry and facilitate exchange and cooperation among global automakers.
It will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center with a total exhibition area of 360,000 square meters, according to the website of the exhibition.
More than 1,000 automobile manufacturers from 20 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition, ranging from auto giants like Volkswagen, Maserati to domestic automakers including Chery, Geely and BYD.
Dozens of new energy vehicle (NEV) makers will make their debut in the exhibition such as Weltmeister, KARMA and GYON, as the country continues to promote the development of its NEV market.
