PHNOM PENH, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen left here on Thursday for Beijing, capital of China, to attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, a senior official said.
The forum will be a good opportunity for leaders to discuss and set out visions for deeper and more efficient international cooperation under the Belt and Road initiative (BRI), said Sry Thamarong, a minister attached to the prime minister.
"We hope the forum will achieve fruitful results for all," he told reporters at Phnom Penh International Airport.
Thamarong said Cambodia always lend full support to the BRI since it has brought development to the country.
He said many achievements such as hydropower plants, roads, bridges, airports, special economic zones have been developed under the BRI cooperation between Cambodia and China.
