WINDHOEK, May 5 (Xinhua) -- Namibia on Sunday announced their full squad to participate in the cricket Women's World Cup qualifications to be hosted by Zimbabwe.
The tournament will see other Africa countries including Kenya, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Tanzania battling it out for the sole ticket for the World Cup.
Namibia's team comprises of Yasmeen Khan (captain), Sune Wittman, Kayleen Green, Syvia Shihepo, Victoria Hamunyela, Dietlind Foerster, Wilka Mwatile, Reehan Khan, Adri van Der Marwe, Eveleen Katjirikua, Constancia Kauripeke, Irene Van Zyl Juriene Diergaart, and Maryke Short.
Namibia are in a tough group consisting of Sierra Leone, Kenya and Uganda, with the group winner playing the winner of the group consisting of heavy weights Zimbabwe, minnows Mozambique, Nigeria and Rwanda.
