NEW DELHI, May 10 (Xinhua) -- India will be hosting a World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Meeting of developing countries and least developed countries (LDCs) in New Delhi on May 13-14, official sources said Friday.
The two-day meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss various issues and the way forward.
The meeting is also an effort to bring together the developing countries and the LDCs on a platform for sharing common concerns on various issues affecting the WTO and work together to address these issues.
An official statement issued by the country's Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the meeting is being held at a time when the multilateral rule-based trading system is facing serious and grave challenges.
