WUHAN, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Equestrian Jumping Championships was kicked off here on Saturday as a test event for the coming 7th Military World Games.
A total of 100 riders from 17 teams are taking part in, with the youngest at the age of 11.
During the two-day tournament, the riders will compete in three events for four gold medals.
Located in southwest of Wuhan, the newly-built arena in Wuhan Business University will host two equestrian events of the Games.
The 7th Military World Games will open in Wuhan on October 18th, with the participation of over 10,000 military athletes from more than 100 countries and regions.
