WUHAN, May 21 (Xinhua) -- The 2019 World Fly-in Expo (WFE), attracting more than 80,000 audience members and 700 participants, closed on Tuesday in Wuhan, the capital of central China's Hubei Province.
During the four-day event, more than 80,000 audience members came to WFE to watch and experience the aircraft performance. Highlights included the hot air balloon and wind tunnel events, which attracted 700 people in total.
Featuring 560 aircraft, the event, lasting from May 18-21, included more than 700 air sports athletes, coaches and referees. 60 world-class athletes competed in the event.
According to the committee, nearly 100 related companies took part in related exhibitions and forums to seek business opportunities. 11 projects were signed during the WFE, with a total investment of around 26 billion.
