RABAT, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Coach of Moroccan football team Herve Renard on Monday unveiled the 27-man preliminary squad for this summer's African Cup of Nations.
The list, published by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), includes all the players who took part in last year's World Cup with the exception of Aziz Bouhaddouz.
It will also marked by the return of striker Abderazak Hamad Allah, who scored a record of 34 goals in 30 league games as Al Nassr won the league in Saudi Arabia.
Borussia Dortmund left back Achraf Hakimi is also on the list. Kakimi suffered a serious injury earlier this season.
The squad will start on June 2 a training at the Maamoura National Football Center (CNF) in preparation for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt on June 21 to July 19, according to FRMF.
The Atlas Lions will play two friendly games with Zambia and Gambia on June 12 and 16 respectively in Marrakech.
Morocco are in Group D along with the Cote d'Ivoire, South Africa and Namibia.
