BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Shandong Luneng draw 1-1 with Jiangsu Suning while Beijing Renhe defeated the bottom-placed Tianjin Tianhai 2-0 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.
Shandong and Jiangsu were both struggling to create clear openings until the Italian striker Graziano Pelle put Shandong ahead from the penalty spot in the 65th minute, but Eder's brilliant free kick helped Jiangsu to level it after 81 minutes.
Jiangsu's Feng Boyuan missed the opportunity to score the winner in the stoppage time before he earned a yellow card for an ugly foul on former Manchester United midfield Marouane Fellaini, causing a conflict between two teams.
"We played 16 matches in the last two months, it was difficult for our players. I'll give them 3 to 5 days to rest for the next two important games in Aisa Champions League." said Shandong's coach Li Xiaopeng.
Tianjin Tianhai, who fired their coach Shen Xiangfu this week, suffered the fourth consecutive league defeat and hit the crossbar three times in the matche against Beijing Renhe.
Zhang Cheng gave Beijing a 16th-minute lead when he put it into his own goal attempting a clearance. Renato Ribeiro Calixto and Pei Shuai both hit the crossbar late in the first half as Tianjin grew increasingly desperate to find an equaliser.
Beijing sealed the victory after the break as Masika crossed and Makhete Diop had a simple tap-in after 69 minutes.
Elsewhere, Guangzhou R&F tied Hebei China Fortune 2-2, Shanghai Greenland draw Chongqing Lifan 0-0 while Wuhan Zall beat Shenzhen 2-0.
