RIYADH, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-Led coalition involved in a war against Houthis announced on Thursday the destruction of military targets of the militias in Yemen, Al Arabiya local TV reported.
The coalition highlighted that the targets threat regional and international security and they were facilities used by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi militia to store missiles and weapons.
The airstrikes by the coalition came one day after the Abha International Airport in the borders of Saudi Arabia was targeted with a projectile that injured 26 individuals.
The coalition said that the operation was aimed at foreign experts from terrorist organizations working with the Houthi militias and that the attack was in line with the international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
