Ma Jilin, 74, is an inheritor of Ma's bamboo strip knitting, which has been listed as an intangible culture heritage of Huzhou City in 2019. Ma started to learn the handicraft after his father when he was 10. He started to make a living across China with his father at the age of 15. During the past 60 years, Ma Jilin has been committed to inheriting and promoting Ma's bamboo strip knitting.
