CHENGDU, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, saw 619 China-Europe freight trains in the first half of 2019, up 48.4 percent year on year.
China-Europe freight trains starting from Chengdu are upgrading services for economic and trade exchanges, according a provincial meeting on economic development Friday.
The China-Europe freight train network has helped companies in China and neighboring countries to improve their trade with countries along the railway lines.
