BEIRUT, July 12 (Xinhua) -- The Lebanese army received on Friday 15 DAF military trucks from authorities of the Netherlands, the National News Agency reported.
The Lebanese army received the donation through Port of Beirut.
The latest military donation offered to Lebanon was from France two months ago.
On May 12, the Lebanese army received from France armored personnel carriers labelled VAB Hot Mephisto and boxes containing spare parts for the carriers.
However, the biggest contributor of military equipment to the Lebanese army is the United States.
The Lebanese army has received a total of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars in military aid from successive U.S. administrations since the war with Israel in 2006.
