HANOI, July 24 (Xinhua) -- An international water supply and wastewater treatment exhibition kicked off on Wednesday, featuring over 200 firms from 30 countries and regions.
Countries like China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and the United States are showcasing their latest equipment, technologies and services regarding water supply, sanitation, water resources and purification at the three-day expo, said the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association on Wednesday.
During the expo, a seminar entitled "Smart Water Management - Towards Sustainable Development" will be held on Thursday, the association said, noting that Vietnam plans to provide clean water to 90-95 percent of its people by 2020, and to 95-100 percent by 2025.
