WINDHOEK, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Namibia women's team thumped Mauritius 8-0 in their final Group B match of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Cup on Tuesday.
The match played at Gelvandale Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa saw Namibia's star player Zenatha Coleman bag four goals as the Woman of the Match.
With the impressive win, the Namibian squad coached by Uerikondjera Kasaona recorded their biggest win at the championship.
However, Namibia did not make it into the semifinals, finishing third in the group behind leaders Zambia and runners-up Botswana, who had a goalless draw on Tuesday.
