RABAT, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's trade deficit widened by 4.9 percent year on year by the end of June, according to a report released by the Moroccan foreign currency regulatory office on Thursday.
Morocco's trade gap widened to 10.79 billion U.S. dollars by the end of June, the report said.
The rise in the deficit was driven by an increase in imports which amounted to some 26.37 billion dollars, while the exports grew to some 15.58 billion dollars, it added.
