BANGKOK, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- A building under construction collapsed in southern Thailand's Phuket, killing three workers, reports said on Monday.
The accident took place on Sunday when the scaffolding of the building crumbled to the ground. Police found one dead and at least eight injured at the spot.
Rescue workers recovered two more bodies from the rubble on Monday, bringing the death toll to three.
Rescue workers confirmed that the three killed were all Myanmar laborers.
The cause of the collapse is still under investigation.
