BEIJING, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- The China Federation of Literary and Art Circles is holding a series of performance and exhibition activities featuring art works from the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Friday this year.
The activities are being held in the eastern Chinese city of Xiamen, Fujian Province, themed on the Chinese people's love for their families and the country.
A painting and calligraphy exhibition shows over 600 works by artists from the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao on the scenery and progress of China.
Other activities include performances and a photo exhibition with 180 works by photographers from Xiamen and Taiwan on display.
