NEW YORK, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- China has no intention to play the "game of thrones" on the world stage, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said here on Tuesday.

Seeking hegemony has never been in Chinese DNA, Wang said when addressing a dinner co-hosted by National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, U.S.-China Business Council, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Council on Foreign Relations.
