SHANGHAI, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Country exhibitions of the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be extended for eight more days, the Shanghai municipal government has announced.
More than 60 countries and international organizations will participate in this year's comprehensive country exhibitions, with 30,000 square meters in floor space, exhibiting their development achievements in the fields of trade and investment.
The second CIIE will take place from Nov. 5 to 10 in Shanghai.
The extension is a response to citizens' overwhelming enthusiasm toward the CIIE. After the Expo ends, the country exhibitions will be open to the public from Nov. 13 to 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with free entry after registering online. ■
