ATHENS, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Greece's National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) announced on Wednesday the launch of the first undergraduate course of study to be conducted in the English language in the country.
"Greece's tertiary education enters a new stage of extroversion," Greek Education Minister Niki Kerameus said, according to an e-mailed press statement.
The "BA Program in Archaeology, History, and Literature of Ancient Greece," at EKPA's Faculty of Philosophy has already attracted interest abroad, proving that Greece is the ideal place to teach the Ancient Greek culture and history to foreign students, according to the ministry's release.
The four-year program is addressed to non-EU students and lessons will start in autumn 2020.
