ISLAMABAD, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan said Thursday that a passenger train service between Pakistan and India has been suspended in view of the ongoing tensions.
Pakistan's foreign ministry said the train operation with India was suspended on Thursday "in view of the prevailing tensions between Pakistan and India."
"Samjhauta Express will resume its operations as soon as the security situation improves between India and Pakistan," a foreign ministry statement said.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority has announced that commercial flight service will remain suspended until Thursday midnight.
The flight operation was suspended on Wednesday.
