WASHINGTON, March 11 (Xinhua) -- The Los Angeles Lakers have signed 33-year-old guard Andre Ingram to a 10-day contract, the organization announced on Monday.
Andre Ingram was undrafted in the NBA Draft and was selected by G League team Utah Flash (now Delaware Blue Coats) in 2007. He is currently playing for the Lakers G League team South Bay Lakers and averages 8.6 points, 2.6 rebounds this season.
Making his NBA debut in the final two games for the Lakers last season, the G league's all-time leader in three-pointers became the oldest rookie since 1964. He had two sensational games averaging 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks.
The Lakers now stands 11th in the Western Conference with a 30-36 record, drifting away from the playoff berths.
