BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Disney's live-action "Aladdin" topped the Chinese mainland box office for a third day on Sunday after its Friday debut, the China Movie Data Information Network said Monday.
The film pulled in around 48.89 million yuan (about 7.09 million U.S. dollars) on the day, accounting for about 44 percent of the daily total.
It was followed by live-action/animated film "Pokemon Detective Pikachu," which brought in 19.14 million yuan.
Coming in the third was Universal Picture's "A Dog's Journey," which earned 12.65 million yuan.
