MINSK, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Belarus saw its foreign debt fall to 16.7 billion U.S. dollars by May this year, the Finance Ministry said on Friday.
As of May 1, the country's foreign debt decreased by 200 million dollars from the beginning of 2019, the ministry said.
In the January-April period, Belarus obtained 299.6 million dollars in foreign loans, and spent 588 million dollars repaying foreign debts, it said.
